Field Service Engineer (Direct Hire | Great Pay + Company Truck + Commission)

We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer Lead role with a global packaging equipment manufacturer — supporting customers onsite and remotely when their machines need upgrades, repairs, or adjustments. This is a direct hire role with full benefits, company vehicle, and commission opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Traveling to customer sites (50-60% of the time — flexible travel arrangements!)
Setting up, fine-tuning, programming, and testing new machines and projects
Responding to service/maintenance calls, troubleshooting and resolving issues
Performing repairs, system overhauls, and upgrades on existing machines
Working with a variety of industrial packaging systems — baggers (VFFS & HFFS), scales, check-weighers, x-ray & metal detection systems, conveyors, and more
Logging service activity and coordinating billing info
Building long-term relationships with customers and earning commission on parts/services you recommend

Must-Have Experience:
Hands-on experience with industrial machinery: setup, tuning, and logic programming
Comfortable traveling to customer locations to diagnose & repair equipment
Experience performing system maintenance, overhauls, and troubleshooting
Proven ability to respond to customer service calls quickly and professionally
Bonus if You Have:
Experience working with automated packaging machinery
Familiarity with VFFS, HFFS, conveyors, x-ray/metal detection, print systems
